Hi Robin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Robin Major-Oliphant is the founder and president of One2Mpower Publishing LLC, a hybrid publishing company she launched in 2019 after discovering the transformative power of telling her own story. What began as a personal journey of healing through writing evolved into a mission to help others turn their lived experiences into lasting legacies. Today, One2Mpower Publishing offers writing coaching, editing, ghostwriting, design, and publishing services while empowering authors to learn the publishing process alongside experienced professionals. A project manager, author of ten books, and publishing mentor, Robin is passionate about amplifying voices that have too often gone unheard, believing every story has the power to heal, inspire, and create meaningful change.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. The road has been anything but smooth. One2Mpower Publishing was born during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I was navigating major health challenges, rebuilding my life, and learning to find purpose in adversity. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced financial obstacles, moments of self-doubt, and the challenge of building credibility in a competitive industry. There were times I questioned whether I had the capacity to continue, but each obstacle strengthened my resolve. My journey taught me that resilience is about refusing to let hardship define your future. Those experiences now shape how I mentor authors, helping them transform their own stories of pain, perseverance, and triumph into lasting legacies.

Absolutely. No one builds something meaningful alone, and I am incredibly grateful for the people who have poured into me and believed in my vision.

My mentor and investor, Treshelle Williams, has been a tremendous source of wisdom, encouragement, and support. Her belief in my vision helped me think bigger and continue building with confidence.

Shawn Jackson has also played a significant role as both a mentor and business partner. His guidance, strategic insight, and willingness to challenge me have helped shape both my leadership and the growth of One2Mpower Publishing.

I am equally grateful for my business partner, Rajendra Jadhav, whose collaboration and expertise have contributed to the continued evolution of the business.
