Hi Jennifer , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After graduating from The Western Hills School of Beauty in 2009 as a licensed Advanced Esthetician I began my journey with a prominent Day Spa in Cincinnati. This early training allowed myself to master various treatments such as Microdermabrasion & Hydra Facial. , I have always been creative so I wanted to tap into that. At this time Lash extensions were up & coming in Cincinnati . I was certified in 2016 along with lash lifts and tints shortly after . In 2019 I expanded my expertise to include techniques like Powder Brows, Microblading and Lip Blushing.
These services have gained popularity for their ability to provide long-lasting beauty solutions. By investing time in an
apprenticeship and obtaining certifications i have ensured that my clients receive high-quality results. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and moved on to launch my own biz: Jennifique Lashes Brows Beauty! Here I have 2 estheticians that work alongside me . We specialize in Lash Enhancements, Permanent Make Up & Advanced Skin Care. We have become quite the one-stop shop!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Most of my struggles were learning curves behind the scenes. Payroll, tax laws etc.

I was super lucky to find my storefront so close to home.
Location & Environment Luck:
My salon happens to be near new apartments & other businesses increasing foot traffic. The demographic around my location shifts toward my ideal client. Other
businesses attracts audience and creates spillover traffic.
