Today we’d like to introduce you to Justice Schricker.
Hi Justice, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Resonance Theory is the brainchild of myself and my partner Jourdahn Williamson. After being in the scene for over 10 years and accumulating experience in the audio engineering and event curation industry, we decided to create our own LLC and purchased a high-fidelity Danley Sound Labs sound system. We work as an audio production company that also carefully crafts curated events. We firmly believe that every show deserves the utmost clarity and that the audience should find a purpose through sound. We enjoy creating nights that our showgoers will never forget. Its been amazing watching our audience grow through word of mouth as our events get larger with bigger headliners and production. We also work street fairs and out-of-state music festivals, which are super exciting opportunities for us. We aim to continue this momentum for 2026 with a slew of events/artists that should have tickets flying as they will be events people wont want to miss. This is an insane undertaking for two people who also work full time day jobs as well. We plan to chase this dream for as long as we are able to. It feels good to be able to provide spaces where people can forget about their problems and just have fun for a while.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As much as this is the dream that we are choosing to chase, not all of it has been a smooth or easy-going venture. As stated previously, the company consists of two sole members, myself and Jourdahn. This becomes a bottleneck at times when we have to manage one of our own events or move equipment in and out of venues. More often than not, Jourdahn will handle artist management and hospitality management, while I build the sound system, manage the stage, oversee audio engineering, and coordinate with venue staff and security to ensure that our guests are safely taken care of and provided for. There have also been many weekends when I spent 40+ hours working on our own and other clients’ events, which have literally tested the physical boundaries of what we are capable of.
Very quickly, on a busy night, it can start to feel overwhelming, but once you start to walk around and see the pure enjoyment on people’s faces, the love of music and the reason why we do it eases away any anxiety or stress that built up in the moments prior.
Promotions and marketing have been another uphill battle for us until recently. We have had several people from all over reachout to help us market our events, and we have been working on ways to show our appreciation as such. This year, we are starting our own street team with special incentives and internship opportunities aimed at giving back to these individuals and anyone else interested in being a part of our team.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We specialize in audio engineering, event curation, audio system deployment designs, event marketing, and creating one-of-a-kind immersive experiences. We are known for our professionalism, state-of-the-art sound system, and hosting special events that have been building a growing and returning attendee base that expects a concert experience that can’t be replicated anywhere else except at a Resonance Theory event.
We are proud of the community we are building. We are also proud of the experience we have been able to provide to our guests and of the work we put into making other people’s events special.
What sets us apart from companies is that we are a by concert goers for concert goers production company. We know how it feels to spend a lot of money on an event for it to be a total waste due to the carelessness of the promoter. We strive to never have anyone leave thinking they should have just stayed home.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
That we are just two people who love music and are chasing a crazy dream with a big soundsystem.
