Check Out The Bexley String Quartet’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to The Bexley String Quartet.

Hi The Bexley String Quartet, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The Bexley String Quartet was founded around 2008 by four friends from Capital University. Corey, the current coordinator joined on viola two years later. The Bexley String Quartet has been playing at weddings and events in Central Ohio for the past 17 years. There have been a few member changes over the years, but our second violinist Amy Reski is a founding member. Our quartet also performs as a duo to accommodate smaller events. We offer a diverse selection of pop music and are always happy to play special requests.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We love playing music together, and playing for weddings is always a joyous experience. There have been challenges with finding the right members to replace our friends who have moved away, but our quartet and duet today is one of our strongest ensembles.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our quartet has years of experience playing together and for various live events. We know each other and how to perform our best every time. We’ve played almost every type of venue, in any condition. We excel at playing special requests and popular music. We can ensure the music aligns perfectly with the live event timing.
