Good morning July , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Writing songs and collaborating with other local talented artist to make music glorifying God.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is July Dreaming. I am a Christian R&B artist who loves to write songs to glorify God. I enjoy working with other artists on projects and then performing for live shows. I am also a Mother who is very passionate about helping my children reach their own goals . We have a brand called Butterfly Blessings which is Christian apparel.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
When I truly found Jesus is when I started to come into my own through him. He gives us the Holy Spirit which truly gives you a new way of thinking and seeing things clearly. That is when I knew I could do anything with him.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Of course suffering teaches perseverance and helps you understand what is truly important in life.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’m truly authentic. I’ve never been the one to hold anything back. Mostly I’m promoting love and that’s what I stand for.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace in nature around water. It’s something so beautiful and soothing about nature and water with butterflies, flowers and other beautiful creatures around.
