Hi Lamar, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do you think is misunderstood about your business? 
That it’s not just a streetwear brand. Building this empire to help families and potentially one day employ a lot of people to change their lives

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Lamar Thomas. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I run a streetwear brand name Take Flight Empire LLC. Started this brand about 10 years ago and never stopped. Over the years of building this brand it’s been a rollercoaster but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We have built our awareness up to certain celebrities have noticed the brand and also linking up with a media/podcast team and much more. Currently we are working on our fall collection and more surprising things. So stay tuned.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Being told that I could really be successful in the clothing industry.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Plenty of times. I use to think about what people thought about me. How they viewed me. What they thought about my designs and etc. But once I realized that it’s so many people in the world, those thoughts went out the window. So now I just keep pushing

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
That if we actually work together and stick together and really be a team the amount of success is unlimited

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I inspired them in some kind of way. From my creativity, my knowledge or just my presence.
