Story & Lesson Highlights with Daniel Guthrie of Wherever

Daniel Guthrie shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I would like to say both currently.
As I walk along a path that is truly my own and unique to me and probably this world……
Does the journey there matter
Is it really considered anything more than a journey??

Is walking the same as wandering in this context??

Perspective is everything.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a hybrid promoter, manager, superhero named Capt. Dab.
I pretty much have this deep drive and passion for the entertainment and music scene.

Currently, with 5 artists on the roster.
2 of whom are Ohio award winners, 2 In Artist development and another one in the Juggalo Scene.
And 1 has celebrity cosigners.

I have been known to throw awesome charity events, I have been known to also find some great talents from nowhere and start their foundations in the NE Ohio music scene.

I also dress up like a superhero from time to time.
There really isn’t a job I don’t do in this scene, or attempt to learn.

I am also purple bearded and that purple mane of mine is proudly sponsored by RBrand Beard Products.
I even have my own line of beard oils, butters, deodorant and body wash through them.
Sun kissed mango, robust wild cherry, Black pepper, and old school barbershop notes are what makes this scent such a winner.
It actually sold so well, that the Head Honcho over there at RBrand made it a permanent line!

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Hahahaha! That is a good one!!!

Nobody tells me what to do

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
To appreciate the struggles more

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
No. There are at least 36 documented different personalities within my head.

The public version is only 1 version.

Male mental health is VERY REAL.
Make sure to check in on your loved ones daily.
It really helps.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If immortality were real, what would you build?
I would build a haven center specifically for the at risk youth.
A true place where they can learn skills to keep them out of “the revolving door. “
