Hi Brittney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started The Queen of Clean in 2019 after I worked in the medical field for a few years. I came home one day uncontrollably crying to my husband because I just felt like I had a bigger purpose. He comforted me and then we proceeded to talk about having our own business’ and since I have a history of cleaning with my mom when I was younger, and I enjoy doing it as well. So, he actually was the one who came up with the business name. I started as a DBA and here we are now an LLC growing rapidly!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Heck no. I personally don’t feel anything in life goes smooth. To learn the ins and outs of running a business is a struggle alone. I’ve been the one handling just about everything when it comes to client relations. So every phone call, text, email, meeting with clients and such it’s been me. It’s been hard being a mom, wife, running a business and taking care of myself but! I’ve now found ways to make things go easier. Everything is a learning lesson along the way.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Queen of Clean ?
I started off being a solo woman running the business and now we have transformed it into a family owned business. My husband (James) works along side me most of the time! We are a professional cleaning company. Our biggest specialities include but not limited to deep cleanings and move in/out cleanings. The transformation process is what gets our clients thrilled
We are different than most, everyone is family. I know I say clients, but we speak to everyone about life, their families, any big events going on and plans that they have. I want people to feel welcomed and I spend quite sometime talking before getting started on cleans. I want to have that family relationship since that’s what we’re based around.
What I’m most proud of would have to be the amount of people I’ve helped and to hear that directly or on reviews makes me feel like I’m doing my purpose in life.
I want people to know that The Queen of Clean isn’t just a cleaning service, we are a family that enjoys getting your home or space taken care of; We enjoy talks with others whether it’s advice about life or family and we cherish the bonds we created.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Yes! So unfortunately when I first started The Queen of Clean in August of 2019, it was just a few months until I actually had to temporarily stop the business due to the outbreak but also had alot to do with finding out I was pregnant with our miracle baby.
But, as time went on we learned more on sanitizing and being able to take care of our clients who’ve been sick and needed their homes taken care of. We practiced safe measures and were still able to provide services with the proper attire and care.
