Hi Tammara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in a family with a deep appreciation for aesthetics and service- from interior decorating to event styling and catering. That environment naturally nurtured my own passion for creating beautiful , memorable experiences. It wasn’t until I began planning my own wedding, however, that everything clicked. As I brought my vision to life, I found myself fully immersed and genuine enjoying every detail. After the wedding, several guest asked, ” Who planned your wedding?” and that’s when the light bulb went off. I realized I had not only found my niche but also that I was naturally equipped for the world of event planning.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely come with it’s challenges. Building a solid client base that not only trusts you but also trusts the process takes time and consistency. There’s also the financial side- investing in inventory, covering start up cost, amd managing ongoing expenses can be overwhelming in the beginning. On top of that , managing people, expectations, and the pressure to deliver excellence every time requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. The demographic you serve and fluctuations in the cost of living are also factors that can impact pricing and planning. Despite bumps in the road, each challenge has helped shape me into a more resilient and resourceful planner.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an event planner and designer, and I like to say I specialize in all things events- from private celebrations to corporate function, social gathering, and community initiatives and engagements. I’m best known for my attention to detail and my ability yo transform unconventional spaces into stunning, customized experiences that reflect each client’s unique style and interest. What ‘m most proud of is the reputation I’ve built- not just for delivering beautiful events, but for cultivating healthy relationships and genuine rapport with my clients for nearly two decades. My company is called Coordinating Bliss, and believe it or not, the ” Bliss” is what sets me apart. My clients often return because it’s not just about bringing their vision to life- it’s also about the joy and ease they experience while working with me and my team.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Absolutely, I’m spiritually grounded , so the first and most consistent resource I turn to is the Holy Bible. It keeps me centered and helps guide my mindset, especially in the midst of busy seasons. From a creative standpoint, I also draw inspiration from social platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. In today’s digital age clients are constantly exploring trends and ideas online, so staying connected to those platforms helps me stay fresh , current, and creatively aligned with what excites them.
