Daily Inspiration: Meet Morgan Paige Shorts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Paige Shorts.

Morgan Paige, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was intricately designed in my mother’s womb—gifted, talented, and equipped with everything I needed to walk in the purpose God had already prepared for me. My parents recognized the gifts blooming within me and chose to nurture and cultivate them. That foundation built the confidence I now carry. From there, others began to witness and affirm what God had already planted. But it all started with Him—with His divine plan for my life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth. Along the way, I was influenced by society’s expectations, the company I kept, and the world’s version of who I should be. I adopted beliefs and practices that didn’t align with God’s purpose for my life, and my actions reflected that. But through it all, I was reminded that this life is not about being served—it’s about serving. That truth has helped realign me with the path God originally designed for me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a thinker at heart—someone who thrives on vision, strategy, and inspired action. I love to brainstorm and bring ideas to life, especially when they’re led by the Holy Spirit. When I receive divine insight, I move with intention—sometimes quickly, if that’s what the moment calls for. I’m known for being a Founder and Founding Member of two of the most impactful creative arts organizations in Cleveland, Ohio: Poetry Unplugged and The Sparrow’s Fortune. Through these communities rooted in poetry and spoken word, we’ve empowered countless poets, writers, and spoken word artists across Northeast Ohio.

There isn’t just one moment I’m most proud of—every time I’ve been able to bring an idea to life, whether my own or a collaborative vision, it affirms who I am. What truly sets me apart is my confidence in God—the One who equipped me with these gifts. That confidence fuels my boldness and unwavering belief that anything aligned with His will + His word can and will manifest.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am an introvert that does public facing community work. Ha it takes a lot of energy for me to be around large groups and I have to prioritize isolation and rest so that I am not perceived as a horrible person lol
