Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Jennings.
Hi Casey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started TikTok in 2018 as a viewer. In 2019 I started posting more often as an outlet for my creative side. I didn’t start growing as a creator until 2021, where I had several videos go viral where I was lip syncing to popular audios. I shifted my content to be more “lifestyle” vlogs and now I get to showcase my daily life on my channel. I love showcasing all of the amazing things that Cincinnati has to offer!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not always been smooth. I have been discouraged many times. The TikTok algorithm can be very harsh, but the best thing that I have learned is to keep pushing on even when you only have 10 views.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am most known for my food reviews in Cincinnati. I also showcase local events and bring awareness to small businesses. I am most proud of the community that I have built! I think what sets me apart from others is that I am truly authentic in my content.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My boyfriend Angelo deserves so much credit for helping me along the way and supporting me in my dreams. He plays the role of camera man, body guard, tri pod, and back up dancer LOL.
