Hi Jill, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been in business for 15+ years. I accidentally fell into it when my two children were in theater during high school and they needed treats for the intermission bake sale. The performance was Stuart Little and I made some chocolate lollipops of a mouse. They were a great hit and many custom orders came from it and thus began my chocolate obsession and addiction!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Over the years I have faced challenges and hurtles that I never envisioned but they were just opportunities to learn to adapt and adjust the way I do things.
The Pandemic threw obstacles that were never dreamt of, but we implemented contactless pickup that has carried on to this day with the option of contactless deliveries.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Jill’s Artisan Chocolates is a service for those who appreciate the finer artisan chocolates over the commercial waxy chocolates found in retail stores.
Not only are they beautiful to look at, but made with delicious Ghirardelli Chocolate and other quality ingredients. All orders are hand made in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.
The Viral Dubai Chocolate craze has taken me in a direction that has given customers several different options, varieties and price points. The Dubai chocolates have been my top selling products for months.
Customers from all over Columbus have found us through social media and the repeat orders and referrals have been the most exciting part of the last year.
Corporate clients of all different professions have contacted us to create customized treats with their company logos on edible images that are made with an edible printer. Other custom orders have been for weddings, showers, realtors, and several companies have used for advertising purposes.

We offer free local delivery in several areas of town. For anyone not within the zone, we will meet customers in a public place within the delivery area at no charge!
