Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Winch.
Hi Jeff, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It has been a while trying to get some traction, we opened in the middle of Covid in 2020 so it was difficult to get things going.
I wanted an outlet for people to get together and have fun and learn things so I built this business with small groups in mind. It has started to grow to more of an interest in bringing kids but it’s really for all ages.
We have three Escape rooms one being a word game called The Cypher, a 1948 Detectives Office, and an 1800 Jailhouse. We also have slime and game activities.
I also offer Technical Training and Computer Consulting for businesses. Every few months I offer a free class in budgeting or job searching.
Our goal is for this business to grow and reach more of the community, and beyond. Hopefully bringing joy, knowledge, and entertainment to all.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing ever worthwhile is ever a smooth road. Some of our initial struggles was dealing with the building department. It took a lot longer for us to get the building remodeled for our purposes.
The next biggest obstacle is reaching people, I have tried professional advertisement and as much free advertisement as I can but we are constantly fighting the idea of competing for people’s attention.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For more than 41 years I was in the information technology sector. (Retired now from that) I had moderate experience in everything in that field over that time… computer operations, hardware, software development, administration of networks, training, user support.
I guess what would set me apart from others that I have metin my career is my desire to help others and compassion for their needs.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I love to cross network with people share their presence and have them to share mine.
Someone can best support me by telling others about the great things that I have to offer at the Delhi Who Dunnit.
