Today we’d like to introduce you to Londyn Marie.
Hi Londyn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a little girl I Always loved making up songs and grabbing a couple friends to help me sing them and bring them to life. I played the piano so often and made up songs that my grandes the gifted me his and I still have it til This day. I have journals full of poetry and song ideas, enamores since childhood of expression through music. As I grew older that love for music never died and I am still creating and expressing through song today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been rough in many patches, like being sold a dream of “connections”, losing myself and who I was as an artist from others opinions, to having a fear of being rejected as an artist. But every time I come back stronger, and I know that this is what I’m meant to do.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love singing about love. Its become very trendy to sing about anything but these days, but I do like to keep the original focus of R&B alive. I love being a lovergirl and being in a soft space, and my music is for those who appreciate that or are as well.
