Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Nunez
Hi Carlos, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My Mame is Carlos Angel Nuñez Karry. I was born and raised in Bayamon,Puerto Rico. Im the second child of 5. I moved to Ohio at the age of 21 and ive been grateful with what i can called second home for this past 11 years. Since i was a child i was passionate to embrace others, to love deeply and to help others. I went to school for intermediate communication and cosmetology. In 2012 i started helping people living with Hiv and Aids as a volunteer. In 2021 i got reached out by the Cleveland taskforce and offered to be part of the team as a Latino research assistant. Where i discovered my passion torse love and help others unconditionally. Now on days im still working with the company as a trilingual housing case manager and i also offer mentoring and translation services. Im also a Model , Hairstylist and a dog Dad .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My live has always been a challenge. I moved to ohio without the knowledge of of the english lenguaje. Without any experience , self love or family in the area. It took me years to realize that everything i was doing it was knowing myself and discovering how capable i am to archive anything that i plan in my life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My main goal in my professional live is to help those that are living in the streets with Hiv/ aids. I help them to develop self care, self confidence, confidence, self respect, self care. We also assist the. To get in care and stabilize them live with a job and an apartment for their own. Afterwards my focus is to follow up with them and help them archive their own goals in life.
Any big plans?
I want to know the entire world. Ive been preparing myself for the best and i cant wait to see it happen.
I have been a voice for a thousands of people through the years. But i want to creare voices as well helping everyone understand that self love is the key to shine into this world.
