Hi Abbey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Absolutely! My journey began with a deep love for supporting local businesses and a passion for connecting people with everything Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have to offer. As a lifelong resident of the area, I’ve always been inspired by the energy, creativity, and hard work of small business owners which make our communities so unique!
With a background in marketing and event planning, I saw an opportunity to create a one-stop resource where both locals and visitors could discover restaurants, shops, events, attractions, sports, savings, and job opportunities all in one place. That idea became Everything Cincy—a platform dedicated to promoting local businesses and strengthening community connections.
Launching the brand took dedication, relationship-building, and a deep understanding of what makes Cincinnati unique. Over time, Everything Cincy has grown into a trusted resource, partnering with countless businesses and organizations to showcase the best we have to offer.
Through it all, my goal remains the same: to uplift local businesses, highlight the best of Cincinnati, and create meaningful connections within the community. Seeing Everything Cincy continue to evolve and make an impact has been an incredibly rewarding experience!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all! Like any entrepreneurial journey, starting and growing Everything Cincy came with its share of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was launching the platform during a pandemic, a time when local businesses were struggling. I was determined to help them navigate the uncertainty—whether that meant promoting takeout and delivery services, sharing resources, or finding creative ways to keep engagement high. It was a difficult period, but it reinforced the importance of supporting local and building a strong community connection.
When launching a business, earning the trust of both businesses and the community is crucial. Little by little, we focused on building brand awareness and demonstrating the value of Everything Cincy. I knew the platform could be a game-changer for local businesses, but it took time to establish credibility and prove our impact. Through persistence, collaboration, and genuine support, we were able to create a trusted resource that continues to grow and make a difference.
Another challenge has been keeping up with the ever-evolving digital landscape. With marketing, social media, and technology constantly changing, staying ahead of trends while ensuring businesses maximize the value of our platform requires ongoing learning and adaptability.
That said, I wouldn’t trade the ups and downs, long nights, and early mornings for anything—every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a greater impact!

Our goal is to streamline the experience, making it easier for users to discover local businesses, explore upcoming events, and find job opportunities—all in one place. At the same time, we’re providing even more exposure and marketing opportunities for businesses to connect with the community.
Soon, we will be launching an Everything Cincy Membership program that will provide exclusive perks, discounts, and special offerings to all members. This will include VIP access to events and early access to some of the best experiences in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky!
We’re planning to bring more in-person events that highlight local businesses, from networking opportunities and community gatherings to exclusive Everything Cincy-sponsored experiences. These events will give people a fun and engaging way to explore the city and support local business.
