Hi Troy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have been in the restaurant business for over ten years, and we truly love this industry. That’s why we decided to open a small restaurant and continue serving the people in this community with passion.
As enthusiasts of Asian cuisine, we have carefully curated our menu by exploring numerous restaurants and refining the dishes to make them even better. Our food may not be the absolute best, but we always use the freshest ingredients and put our heart into every dish we make.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the early stages, we encountered many challenges, such as designing the restaurant. We spent a year planning, designing, and renovating before finally opening our doors to everyone.
When we first started, our biggest concern was whether our food would be well received by local customers. During the initial phase, we continuously made improvements. If a dish on the menu wasn’t popular, we would promptly replace it to better meet our customers’ preferences.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
“Okini” is a word I truly love. In Japanese, it means “favorite place,” and for most people, their favorite place is home. That’s why I treat this restaurant as my home.
In this home, you’ll find decorations that I love. I have a deep appreciation for marine fish, and as a Bengals fan, you’ll also see touches of that passion throughout the restaurant. Of course, the best part of this home is the food. We are committed to using the freshest ingredients to offer our guests a unique dining experience while maintaining a balance between premium ingredients and reasonable prices. Our goal is to provide high-quality food at an affordable price, ensuring that everyone feels as comfortable here as they would at home.
We strive to be Fun, Fresh, and Fabulous! We will continue working hard to become a restaurant that the local community loves and praises—that is our one and only goal.
