Hi Whitney , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the beauty industry began at a young age, watching countless beauty YouTube channels that sparked a lasting passion. While I initially experimented with makeup on myself, it wasn’t until 2018 that I decided to pursue it seriously. I enrolled in esthetics school, where I became a licensed skin therapist and makeup artist. I started my career offering skincare and massage services, but over time, I found the courage to fully dive into what truly inspired me—makeup. Since launching my own beauty business in 2020, I’ve been fortunate to do what I love every day, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help others feel confident and beautiful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. Being a business owner means you’re always learning, especially when it comes to marketing yourself as a makeup artist. Figuring out my niche, connecting with the right audience, and staying focused have all been tough hurdles. One of the biggest struggles has been developing the discipline to manage my time and finances effectively. Despite these challenges, the experience has been truly fulfilling and has taught me a lot along the way.
