Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Okenge
Hi Abigail, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For as long as I can remember, I was trapped in a cycle that many women find themselves in—obsessed with being as skinny as possible, restricting my food intake during the day, and then binging every night. I was constantly running to burn calories, doing endless HIIT workouts to “undo” what I had eaten, and stressing about going out with friends because I felt like I couldn’t “control myself” around food.
Almost every night, I went to bed disappointed in myself, blaming a lack of “self-control” when, in reality, my struggles had nothing to do with that. I was stuck in a mindset that was damaging both my body and my spirit.
Everything changed when I met someone who introduced me to strength training. As I started focusing on getting stronger rather than shrinking myself, I began to understand what true health. It wasn’t skipping breakfast or labeling foods as “good” and “bad.” It wasn’t about eating as little as possible.
Through learning about nutrition, lifting, and respecting my body, I realized that real change wasn’t just about knowledge—it was about applying that knowledge in a way that aligned with respecting myself. The most important lesson I learned was that true self-respect, self-confidence, and self-love comes from keeping the promises you make to yourself.
With this shift in mindset and additional education, certifications, and trainings, I have been able to sustainably coach myself—and other women—to pursue their dream selves. While this generally comes with fat loss, that is not the most important part. It is the way transforming into a new you—one that previously seemed unattainable—feels. Through this journey, I have become self-efficient, empowered, and for the first time in my life, I truly love my body for what it is capable of, not just how it looks (but I also love that, too!
Today, my biggest passion is health and fitness. All I want to do is help other women experience the same freedom and empowerment that comes with being strong, healthy, and loving their own bodies. It’s not about being “perfect”; it’s about building confidence, strength, and resilience in a way that honors who you are.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Being a bride is one of the most thrilling times in life. It is also one of the most overwhelming and stressful. The thought of lacking confidence in your own body on your wedding day causes fear, anxiety, and regret. Our proven 4-stage holistic health and fitness program walks you through both a physical and mental journey of transformation, allowing you to approach your big day, and all the days that follow, confident, assured, and empowered.
Let’s get one thing straight: You do not have to change your body for your wedding. What matters most on your big day is how you feel as you step into this new. exciting chapter of life. Your sense of self-worth is not defined by a number on the scale, how “toned” your arms are, or how small your wedding dress size is. Instead, it is about how confidently you stand in your own skin, ready to embrace what lies ahead—both on your big day and beyond.
Something that has been foundational to my own personal transformation is the realization of this: There’s nothing more powerful than keeping the promises you make to yourself.
This journey is about more than just fitness—it runs deeper. It’s about nurturing your relationship with your own body, health, and mind. When you show up for yourself in this way, the transformation isn’t just physical. It’s the confidence, joy, and pride you’ll carry with you—not just on your wedding day, but into the life you’re building after it.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being able to look back say, “I told myself I was going to do that, and I did. I did everything I could to get it done.”
