Community Highlights: Meet Jessica Hardesty-Nollar of Keller Williams Louisville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Hardesty-Nollar

Hi Jessica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am currently the CEO/Team Leader of Keller Williams Louisville. My role is extensive and some of the most important aspects involve helping real estate agents determine the best ways to serve clients to the best of their ability. In doing this they are able to create a life filled with endless opportunities utilizing real estate as a vehicle to propel them forward. With no ceiling the business can become overwhelming and easily cause burnout. We focus on developing a business strategy through models and systems to facilitate a life by design.

My role is a role for someone who enjoys serving people and developing deep relationships with real estate professionals to allow them to be vulnerable enough for us to learn how I can truly help them.

Prior to taking this role, I have always been someone who believes in others. At times, so much that it was detrimental to my health and wellbeing. This leadership position has enabled me to grow at a steady pace learning about the power of mindset, education, teamwork, accountability, growth, leverage and given me the gift of teaching people to believe in themselves enough that they break through the chains holding them back.
The CEO role has allowed me extreme personal, business, spiritual and emotional growth. I’m a better mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and leader thanks to KW. I’m forever grateful for the phone call that led to a huge conversation and amazing opportunities.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I believe that no road is specifically smooth or bumpy. When times are great I try to celebrate the moments. When the tide turns and challenges appear, I remind myself that in every challenge I face, there’s a lesson to learn. What’s the lesson. How do I utilize the discomfort or pain to become a better version of me. How do I help others from what I’m experiencing. For me this is a complete shift in the way I viewed life. It’s a process and I’m grateful for the new perspective. It serves me and others well.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Keller Williams Louisville ?
I believe one of the unique aspects of our brokerage is that we inspire growth, we encourage failing forward, we cheer each other on. We want everyone to win. We understand winning looks different for each individual agent. We know that at the highest level the players don’t compete they collaborate. We don’t show attention or respect based on the volume of production the agent does. Everyone is equal. Everyone can choose the volume they want to produce and be connected to the opportunities in alignment with what they want for themselves. The support and integrity of the agents that make up our office is top notch. The accountability and leadership available to assist our agents in living the life they desire, is literally at their fingertips….if they put in the work. We also encourage scheduling time for refilling our tank. Our business model is Faith, Family, Business. You can’t truly appreciate your talent or success if you never stop to celebrate your victories with those you love the most. We teach time and priority management. This gives our agents the freedom and peace of mind to take care of themselves in order to best serve others and reach their true potential.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Without risk there is no reward. I believe people are conditioned to avoid risk. In order to learn what your true capabilities are risk is required. Obviously there’s a difference between taking a risk that you have trained yourself to be conditioned for and jumping off a cliff without a parachute. Risk takers are sometimes given the reputation of being reckless or careless. Depending on your perspective and responsibilities to others you must determine if taking the risk is worth the reward. Most highly successful people take risks regularly. They believe that if they don’t give it a chance, their regrets will be more severe.

Personally, I enjoy taking some risks. The adrenaline of pushing forward out of my comfort zone is something I enjoy. At times the end result is less than desirable. As a mother and a wife, I now pay more attention to whom else might be directly impacted by my decisions. For the most part my risks have led to amazing moments and many beautiful lessons.
