Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Jennings

Hi Christine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2020 we were looking to buy our first house. I was an acquaintance with our realtor, Kyle, prior to working with him, and he had told me that I should get into real estate due to my personality. I’ve always been interested in real estate since I was younger, so I thought why not! I quickly started taking classes to prep for the big exam. I got my license after that in early 2021 and have worked alongside Kyle since then. We are now partners and lead the Steele Group at Streetlight Realty- we are always looking for new agents! We are able to provide buyers agents, listing agents, commercial and investments. We also run property management company. I’ve learned so much about real estate in a few short years. I have a particular interest in investing in real estate so I’m excited to keep learning and grow a portfolio of my own.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have definitely been chaotic moments. I have kept a full time job that I love alongside my real estate venture, so I’m definitely busy. Once I start getting too busy, I may consider transitioning to a full time real estate agent!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My background is an administrative work. I have a passion for organization, so I’m great at taking chaos and finding a way to structure it efficiently. This works great for real estate because there are so many documents being sent all over the place for each transaction, so keeping track of everything is very crucial.

What makes you happy?
Traveling and spending time with my loved ones. I was born in Japan, and traveled a lot due to my dad being in the Air Force. I think because of that, I have an appreciation for different cultures and love trying new foods.
