Meet Wilma Rosser of Cincinnati Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wilma Rosser

Hi Wilma, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Jessie’s Table is named after my late mother Jessie. My mom had a knack for curating special meals out of very little for my brother, sisters and I. She worked full time as a caregiver and had a heart for serving people in excellence. My love for serving, creating beautiful and delicious food for people comes from both my parents. My dad was very artsy and used all kinds of materials to create jewelry, flower pots, pictures etc.
Jessie’s Table is a full service catering brand offering event services and consulting, we are known for our beautiful and delicious spreads. From corporate to intimate gatherings for friends and family; our goal is to provide you with a creative customized, delicious meals to fit your event. We love when clients give us creative license!!!
We have been featured on Fox 19 news featuring cooking and tablescaping segments.
This уear will be the 4th year that we have collected money and blankets to purchase new warm blankets for men and women in treatment facilities. We have also donated hundreds of meals to many people including Lighthouse Runaway Shelter and other organizations and families in need, Our hope and plan is to expand our reach in the community we want to partner with other small businesses and corporations to make this happen.
Our goal is to continue to build our brand which is built on a love for people, faith integrity, excellent service and quality delicious food.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey has had many challenges including illness and deaths of loved ones over the years. This caused me to briefly step away to handle family matters but hanks be to God and to my loyal clients that kept booking.
Finding a commissary location to cook was challenging but we secured a place that works for our current needs. Funding the business in lean times and generating new clients is always challenging but we continue to press through anything that stands in our way.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the owner operator Chief Cooking Officer for Jessie’s Table.
We specialize in Beautiful, Deliciously Curated Spreads including Grazing Tables and Charcuterie Boards. We also host fun and informative workshops for charcuterie. I am most proud that my client retention rate is around 90%. I have served my clients children, colleagues friends etc.. I look at one client as being two to three, honestly I expect a call or two after each event.
My name is spoken well of in the community, board rooms etc. and for that alone I am GRATEFUL.
Our attention to detail, creativity and fire meals is what sets us apart.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes PIVOT!!! Life was interrupted by Covid but with that came more opportunities to be creative and create additional income streams. Packaging meals in grab and go container s were one way we shifted our catering.. Thank God we were able to dig deep to provide our clients with quality food in safe packaging, in addition to safe handling practices.
