Life & Work with Natalie Schwartz of Worthington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Schwartz

Hi Natalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Natalie Schwartz, and like many new moms, I experienced a whirlwind of emotions and challenges when I entered the world of motherhood. Amidst the joy and wonder of bringing a new life into the world, I found myself struggling to reconcile my new identity as “mom” with the person I used to be.

During those early days of motherhood, I realized that taking care of my little one and nurturing my family left little time for myself. The overwhelming responsibility of motherhood often caused me to neglect my own well-being and, over time, I began to lose touch with the woman I once was. As I navigated through this profound transformation, I yearned for something that could help me maintain my sanity and reconnect with my true self.

That’s when I stumbled upon the incredible power of exercise. Initially, it was just a way to carve out some “me time” and gain a brief respite from the demands of motherhood. But soon, I discovered that exercise offered much more than just physical benefits—it became an anchor for my sanity and a gateway to rediscovering my identity.

As a mom, I understand firsthand the struggles of being overweight and feeling strapped for time. The postpartum journey can be challenging, and it’s easy to put our own needs on the backburner. But I also know that it’s essential for moms to take care of themselves, both physically and mentally. That’s why I am deeply committed to helping fellow moms return to a body they love and feel confident in.

My mission goes beyond just physical fitness; I am dedicated to transforming the way moms relate to food. I know how easy it is to fall into unhealthy habits or restrictive diets in an attempt to regain our pre-pregnancy bodies. Instead, I believe in fostering a positive and sustainable relationship with food—one that nourishes not only our bodies but also our minds and souls.

Through my own journey, I have gained valuable insights, knowledge, and strategies that have helped me and countless other moms lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. I believe that every mom deserves to feel strong, empowered, and happy, and I am here to guide and support you on that transformative path.

So, if you’re a mom looking to reclaim your identity, regain your confidence, and make positive changes in your life, you’ve come to the right place.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a mom of 3 who is a full time stay at home mom and a business owner it’s always challenging. I fit the business into the nooks and crannies of my life. So I am not sure there will ever be a “smooth road”, but it’s a road that is full of passion to empower moms just like myself that they can prioritize themselves daily.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I created an online exercise and nutrition membership for moms. Exercise, Nutrition, and Community All in One Solution. I encourage mom to “Embrace Motherhood by Taking Care of YOU First”.

I am proud to bring the busy mom a complete full service wellness experience that she can plug into around her busy schedule.

As moms we often put everyone’s needs first but in ELEVATE I encourage mom to put herself first. When mom is choosing herself each day she can show up energized and happy to tackle her day. Everyone benefits in the home when mom is taken care of.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I am a CA native. Born and raised in San Diego. I have been living in Ohio for the past 4 years and it’s true what they say about how warm and friendly the people in the midwest are. I would say I dislike the winter and the grey days.
