Today we’d like to introduce you to Saran And Peaches Harris
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hey Hey I am Saran, an individual that believes humor can be the best medicine and Peaches who never meets a stranger with her bubbly personality. Our journey began in the most organic way—sitting together and talking about something that had been on our minds for a long time. There was a clear void in our city: a lack of truly engaging, inclusive events that catered specifically to the LGBTQ+ community. We both felt it—a longing for a space where we could gather, celebrate, and connect with others who shared our experiences and identities. As we talked, it became obvious that we weren’t the only ones craving something more. What started as a casual conversation quickly evolved into something much bigger—an idea that sparked a fire in both of us.
We realized that we had the power to create the change we wanted to see. What if we could build a space that was fun, welcoming, and affirming? What if we could offer LGBTQ+ individuals a place where they could be fully themselves, surrounded by people who celebrated them? That’s when our dream of starting a business was born—a start-up dedicated to creating LGBTQ+ events that brought the community together in a way that was meaningful and uplifting.
But as with any bold endeavor, the road ahead was not without its challenges. The leap from concept to reality is always daunting,
Yet through all the difficulties, we kept going. We kept going because we knew that this was bigger than just us. It wasn’t simply about hosting events—it was about creating a much-needed space for people to feel seen, valued, and accepted. It was about fostering a sense of belonging that so many in our community longed for. And it was about offering a platform where LGBTQ+ individuals could come together, share their stories, and lift each other up.
We were fortunate enough to not have to do it alone. From the very start, the community rallied behind us. Friends, family, and even strangers lent their support in ways big and small. Whether it was offering words of encouragement, volunteering their time, or showing up to our very first event, the LGBTQ+ community—and our allies—proved to be our greatest source of strength. Every time we hit a roadblock, someone from the community was there to help us find a way around it. We quickly realized that we weren’t just creating events; we were building something far more powerful—a movement of unity, celebration, and love.
Our mission was simple but profound: to provide a space where the LGBTQ+ community could come together in an environment that was not only fun but also safe and affirming. We wanted to create events where people could be unapologetically themselves, surrounded by others who embraced them for exactly who they were. We envisioned a place where joy, laughter, and connection would thrive—where people could celebrate their identities, build meaningful relationships, and feel empowered in their uniqueness.
Over time, that vision has blossomed into a beautiful reality. Our events have become more than just gatherings; they’ve become safe havens for people to express themselves, find community, and feel truly at home. We’ve seen friendships form, confidence grow, and joy spread in ways that have inspired us beyond measure. We’ve watched as individuals who once felt isolated or disconnected found a place where they could belong—where they could laugh, dance, and live authentically, knowing they were surrounded by love and acceptance.
Looking back on our journey, we are deeply proud of what we’ve created. But more than that, we are proud of the community that has come together to make this dream possible. Our start-up may have been born from a conversation but it has grown into something much larger—a vibrant, thriving space where the LGBTQ+ community can come together and celebrate life in all its colors. The bumps in the road taught us resilience, the challenges strengthened our resolve, and the support we received reminded us of the incredible power of community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a growing start-up with a passion for uplifting the LGBTQ+ community, one of the most significant challenges we’ve faced has been finding the right platforms to promote our mission effectively. In a world saturated with content and noise, it can be difficult to cut through and reach the people who would benefit most from our events and message. We’ve had to experiment with various forms of outreach, from social media campaigns to grassroots networking, always striving to strike the perfect balance between visibility and authenticity. It hasn’t always been easy, and at times, we’ve felt like we were shouting into the void. But each step of the way has taught us the importance of persistence and creativity in marketing our mission, reminding us that staying true to our values is as vital as reaching a larger audience. Every setback has pushed us to refine our approach and find innovative ways to connect with people who share our passion for building safe, affirming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
Another hurdle we’ve faced is establishing collaborations with more established parties within our industry. While we recognize the immense value that comes from working alongside organizations and individuals who have already paved the way, forming those partnerships has not always been smooth. As a newer player in the space, gaining the trust and attention of well-established brands and event organizers has sometimes been a slow process. However, we’ve learned that building genuine relationships takes time and patience. Each interaction, whether successful or not, has helped us grow stronger as a company and allowed us to forge connections with those who share our values. With every challenge, we have found opportunities to learn, and despite the difficulties, we are more determined than ever to continue building bridges and forming partnerships that will help us further our mission of creating inclusive, joyful, and empowering experiences for the LGBTQ+ community.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the heart of what we do is our passion for bringing the LGBTQ+ community together through vibrant, unforgettable events. We specialize in curating pop-up experiences that are unlike anything else in the city—where inclusivity, fun, and connection take center stage. Each event we host is thoughtfully designed to create an environment where people can let loose, celebrate who they are, and build meaningful connections with others who share their values and experiences. Whether it’s a themed party that lights up the night, a creative workshop, or a spontaneous gathering, we strive to offer something truly unique and memorable. Our goal is simple: to create spaces where every person can feel free to be themselves, surrounded by a community that celebrates them in all their beautiful diversity.
What truly sets us apart is the passion we pour into every event. We’re not just about putting together gatherings—we’re on a mission to curate experiences that leave a lasting impact on everyone who attends. We take pride in getting to know the people who come through our doors, hearing their stories, and incorporating those unique perspectives into the events we create. It’s this personal touch, this genuine connection with our community, that drives us to go above and beyond. We believe in the power of shared experiences, and through our events, we aim to cultivate spaces where joy, creativity, and a sense of belonging flourish. For us, every event is more than just a party—it’s an opportunity to build lasting memories and connections, one unforgettable moment at a time!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As we look toward the future, our vision is expanding beyond pop-up events to something more permanent—something that can serve as a lasting, safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. We dream of establishing a brick-and-mortar location where people can come together, not just for special events, but every day. A space that offers refuge, connection, and joy—a home away from home for anyone seeking an affirming, welcoming environment. This space would allow us to create a sense of permanence, providing a consistent, reliable hub where the LGBTQ+ community can gather, thrive, and feel supported. We want to be a place where people can come not only to celebrate but to grow, find comfort, and feel empowered in their authentic selves.
Our goal is to build a place that reflects the heart of our mission: fostering community, belonging, and joy. With a physical space, we would be able to expand our offerings, from hosting regular events and workshops to offering resources and support for LGBTQ+ individuals. We envision a space where creativity and collaboration flow freely, where people of all walks of life can connect in meaningful ways, and where the spirit of inclusion is woven into every corner. The idea of having a permanent location excites us because it represents the next step in solidifying our commitment to creating a safe, vibrant, and affirming space for all. We are filled with hope and determination as we work toward making this dream a reality—building a legacy of love and community that will stand the test of time
