Hi Billy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a Cincinnati resident, I have been searching for organically flavored coffee beans both locally and online. The famous saying “If you want something done right, do it yourself” applies here. After learning that most online offerings are artificially flavored and that local coffee shops have also been using artificial flavorings, it was the motivation I needed to take things into my own hands.

I roast organic peruvian coffee beans and flavor with organic flavoring. It is as simple as that. Since there was no offering here in the general Cincinnati area for that I wanted to provide that. The goal was getting some unique flavors out there where you don’t think pair well with coffee but actually do!

You may see me as I attend local farmers markets and other holiday events. I can always be reached out to for online ordering as well!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is challenging in terms of being a micro roaster where you can only roast one pound at a time. Having to package, certify with organic protocols and processes, and then sell the beans at markets. It is very time consuming but very worth it when I have customers come to me and tell me how much they loved the coffee they had. That is what makes it all worth it

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am proud to work at my full time role as a platform manager for a career and the flexibility of the role allows me to manage work and life. I enjoy my role and it has helped me with Billy Beans in terms of management of everything web related, Since I have a full time role Billy Beans can’t be everywhere at once and that’s most likely why you will see me on weekend only markets
