Troy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We are celebrating our 25th year in business this year. Our start was in 1999 primarily focused around Home Theater and quickly expanded into Hi-Fi Audio as well. With a passion for movies and music our business grew rapidly over the next few years resulting in relocating to a larger store location and even adding an expansion. With the movement towards Smart Homes, we adapted and expanded our business once again to include a myriad of products that enhance a homeowners lifestyle. These things included outdoor living with sound systems and outdoor tv’s, automated shades, and an extensive architectural lighting portfolio.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We have a philosophy that we are after long time customers, not one time sales. To achieve this we needed to make sure we had a product selection that would appeal to everyone. As a result we developed a Good, Better, Best, and Ultimate selection which has served us well over the years. Clients can start with basic offerings and know they can upgrade to something better anytime the need or desire arises — often in the same brand.
The other challenges we’ve faced has evolved into our service department expanding our offers for remote management, 24 hour service offerings, developing highly qualified certified technicians for networking, calibration , electrical and a host of technical capabilities unequaled in our market area. This remains an ongoing challenge to keep up and ahead of all the new products and technology changes taking place each day.
