Today we’d like to introduce you to Baleiba Hill

Hi Baleiba, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
First I just want to say thank you for this opportunity and I’m happy to share my story!

At the end of 2022 I felt a shift within myself to work toward creating a life that aligned with more of what I loved to do. For me that meant doing things differently than my family and friends. I started creating content as a form of expressing myself and a creative outlet. I started focusing on lifestyle content, sharing more of my day to day with highlights of fashion/style, beauty, travel and wellness.

As I continued to create and share, I discovered my unique voice and style. The engagement and feedback from my audience motivated me to keep going, and soon I was creating content regularly. Despite my social media presence, I’m an introvert at heart so I’ve grown into using my voice and opening up a bit more. Fast forward to today, I’m proud of the community I’ve built and the value I’ve provided through my content. It’s been a fun and personal journey with ups and downs but I’m excited to see where it takes me next!

Overall I’m aiming to inspire others to take my lead in living their most fun, balanced, fashion forward lives. Also, to encourage everyone to pursue their creativity, step out of their comfort zone and have the courage to live the life they’ve dreamed of!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. As I said before I’m an introvert so actually letting people perceive me over the internet (or in general) was a concept I struggled (and sometimes still struggle) with in the beginning for a while. I let it hold me back for a little but then I gradually stopped caring and started to understand that would come with the territory and to not let it hinder my journey.

Although I do value my privacy and I still keep personal things close to me, I’ve loved building a community that I can resonate with and be an inspiration to those who look at me as a leader.

There were also times I had doubts if creating content would actually fulfill me and if I had something to share with the world. Every time I would start to doubt or feel unmotivated, I would reach a milestone I had been working towards. Those moments are always signs to keep going, along with signs from God.

I learned that being myself is what people gravitate towards the most and also has got me the furthest.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a creative bringing a unique perspective, embracing experimentation, and inspiring others to express themselves.

I am most proud of staying true to myself no matter how different that looks from others. I’m proud of myself for going after something that I believe in and not giving up even when I’m unsure of my next steps.

I’m creating the life of my dreams and I believe that requires courage and resilience, so I will always be proud of pursuing what makes me happy.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I would say I was a creative kid, if I wasn’t playing outside then I was creating a game me and my sisters could play together or a dance I could teach them. I’m the middle child so I think I was always looking to create my own path and make my own rules, which I’m still doing today. My interest as a kid were art, reading, playing dress up, dance, bike riding, and creative writing. Although my personality and interest as a child has changed a little, I’m still the silly, curious, and loving girl with a fire burning inside of her that has a passion for living a well balanced life.
