Today we’d like to introduce you to Destiny Sampson.
Hi Destiny, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Hey! I’m Destiny, Born & raised in Columbus, Ohio. I grew up always being surrounded in the beauty industry by being in salons, conventions, shows, etc. My mom has been a master cosmetologist since I was born in ‘97 even before that, so I was always intrigued in the beauty industry and was passionate in being a nail tech in high school, Years later I moved to Georgia to further my education in the beauty industry and decided on Advanced Esthetics and later transferred back to Ohio, and recently graduated from Esthetician school at New Directions Beauty Institute. Sept ‘22 I started my own mobile bartending service. I love creating cocktails and stepping outside the box, bringing the client’s vision to life with a taste of fun! Lately, I’ve been working on different projects for my mobile bar, I started baking, and it’s been amazing! I always imagined being a Boss and having my own businesses with multiple streams of income, creating generational wealth for my future family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve definitely have had some struggles for sure! I always procrastinate and just get lazy. I have big goals, and I dream big, so sometimes I just always second guess myself and have doubts as if my goals aren’t enough or it just won’t go the way I want them to, but overall, I’m learning to overcome those obstacles!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
So, I recently graduated from Esthetician school. I just passed my exams today actually and I am a licensed advanced esthetician. I will be specializing in full body waxing, skin corrections, brows, facials, and permanent makeup. I am known for my creativity and decorating. I love coming up with different recipes and being creative in the kitchen, I like to be extra, and everything has to be perfect! LOL I customize my drinks and get creative with the presentation, I enjoy reviews and seeing reactions from family and friends. Mostly I am proud of myself for not giving up, I’m proud to be able to say that I created something that I’m passionate about, I’m proud to be able to make others feel good!

Success. Reaching the top of your goals, where it gets easier, and aiming to fulfill your purpose.
