Daily Inspiration: Meet Yanna I’Vonne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanna I’Vonne.

Yanna I’Vonne

Hi Yanna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Music has been a part of my life, my entire life. I want to say it definitely started with my mom who has been a part of musical groups before I was even born so grew up in music. I actually started with poetry around the age of 7 or 8, then turned them into songs. I didn’t really take things seriously until the year of 2019 when I released my first single and video “Waves” with Ken Bray (Bray Team Entertainment). I also had the opportunity to open up for the talented Anthony David also in 2019. Then started working with (BHigh) WellWorthit who has been my producer for my entire music career thus far which includes my first album “X-Ray” and have been dropping music ever since!!! Now, I want to say people will be catching an amazing part of my career as I am considering this to be a fresh start again in my career. I don’t want to say I am starting all over, but I am definitely doing things differently when it comes to my journey and making my way to the top.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
To be a part of the music scene is definitely not for the weak. It takes a lot of discipline dedication and you have to truly believe in yourself to do it. My journey has been a roller coaster of good and bad and to be honest the bad has been more self-inflicted. When you are a creator of music the things you write are your baby. I had a time in my career where I kind of lost my way. I felt like my music was not being heard or seen the way I wanted which kinda put me in a phase of giving up. But I had to put my feelings to the side and realize my music might not be for everybody, but it is for somebody, and the ones who support and love what they hear and truly feel it will follow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have released several Ep’s and singles since my first release and album. I have big plans to do another album drop in 2024 which I am extremely excited for! I will be doing a lot of different things and exploring with my creativity. I would love to travel and perform outside of Cleveland. I’m really focused on being consistent and continue to drop amazing music and network.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
You need to be confident. I think confidence is the most important part of success. If you don’t believe in yourself and love what you are putting out for everyone to receive no one else will!!!
