Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Tillman. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Leslie Tillman is the founder of Successfully Single with LM started in 2010. Sept 2022, she received her LLC. and was ready to take back what the enemy thought he had stolen from her and her children; she began to pray, work hard on self, and transformation started. Leslie has a gift and passion to help, uplift, empower, and motivate single mothers and women on this journey called life. Ms. Tillman has overcome obstacles like abuse, depression, codependency, and more. Leslie is full-time employed with the Department of Veteran Affairs. In March 2023, she created an annual women’s event called EmpowerHer The Tea Room-Owning Your Identity Workshop, May 2023 EmpowerHer 2-day Women’s retreat, and a Single Moms BBQ Aug 2023. Ms. Tillman successfully completed life coaching for Be Blessed Ministries in a 3-month program utilizing the two E-books she created entitled 10 Steps on Becoming Successfully Single and her most recent one entitled 8 Stages Of A Codependent Breakup A Story of Redemption.
In the past year, Leslie instructed a 5-week master class based of her first book.
Previously Ms. Tillman started and implemented a Bible study at the local women’s halfway house, a single mom support group, and a facilitator for a singles group.
Leslie believes with information, redirection, and reflection people can heal and break generational habits. Leslie loves individuals, writing, arts and crafts, spending time with God, traveling, cooking, football, and spending time with her family.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
All I can say is you live and learn. I did not have a smooth road at first. The mother of 2 children raised by only me. I became dependent on other substances to help me cope with my situation. A lot of toxic relationships and self-sabotage. One day, I had a conversation with God, and that was it. My life started to change. Then the smooth road began.

I’m the CEO/Founder of Successfully Single With LM LLC, where we create wholeness and healing in single mothers/single women by creating and hosting a Yearly EmpowerHer Retreat, EmpowerHer The Tea Room Social, Masterclasses, and Free Community events. I’m also a Speaker| Life Coach| Writer | and Owner of Lux 360 Photo Booth Rental. I’m most proud of everything I have accomplished above within the last year. September will make 1 year of being in business registered.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I had to get out and network. I couldn’t let past negative relationships ruin my future relationships. I’ve also learned to communicate better. Communication is key! I had to trust God totally because, at one time, I didn’t.
