Today we’d like to introduce you to Aneri Patel.
Hi Aneri, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Ahmedabad, India, and came to the United States at the young age of 3. I was brought up in Georgia and quickly became accustomed to the ways of America. I have since had majority of my schooling in Georgia and have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve faced many challenges along the way and I would most definitely not describe it as a smooth road. I was raised in a household where we struggled financially, and many members of my family and extended family face illnesses and eventually passed away. Despite these difficulties I would like to say I was always surrounded by countless people who loved and cherished me. I think that made the difficulties a little less harsh.
I believe I’ve overcome many challenges but am continuing to persevere and go out of my comfort zone and grow.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently, I am working as an RN in the ICU. I am also working on my more creative side by growing my social media platforms. The collection of these two are what make me who I am. I am passionate about caring for others and providing for the people in my community, but I am also passionate about living a healthy lifestyle where I can explore my interest, such as fashion, traveling, beauty, etc.
I am a big believer in self-care, and this is what self-care means to me. It means expressing myself through fashion, travel, beauty, food, books, music, etc., while still giving back to my community as well.

Favorite Book: The Trouble with Hating You
My favorite apps would be editing apps that can allow me to better create videos or improve the quality of my work.
