Hi Johnathan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started my photography/videography journey in 2018. I first started only flying drones at that time. Within a few short months after purchasing my first drone, I was purchasing my first “professional” camera, and this wild experience snowballed from an interest into a profession. I’ve found that consistency and variety are a fast way to learn and grow a particular skillset. Over the last 5 years, I’ve been able to learn from many photographers and videographers that are far better than myself, which undoubtedly played a huge role in my progress.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are ups and down with anything you do, and being behind the camera is no different. Some days creativity flows, and other times it doesn’t. One of the hardest struggles is finding the time to do it all, especially as business the business grows. Finding time to balance a 9-5, family, and all the additional responsibilities of creating a photography business, it’s a lot work and unpaid hours in the beginning.

In my professional career as a lifestyle photographer, I have had the incredible opportunity to capture authentic moments and tell captivating stories through my lens. What drew me to lifestyle photography was the desire to document real-life experiences, emotions, and connections.
Throughout my career, I have become widely recognized for my expertise in flying drones and leveraging their capabilities to capture breathtaking aerial footage. As an avid enthusiast and a skilled pilot, I have honed my craft and developed a keen eye for capturing unique perspectives and stunning visuals. Whether it’s filming scenic landscapes, documenting events, or assisting in search and rescue operations, my ability to navigate drones with precision and creativity has garnered significant attention. I take great pride in my ability to push the boundaries of aerial cinematography, continuously exploring new techniques and technologies to capture truly captivating imagery.
