Today we’d like to introduce you to Lil Flex.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started taking a run at music in 2017! Since then, I’ve managed to do a lot of shows! I’ve met a lot of helpful and not so helpful in the industry and have built my following and brand off of each music release and merchandise drop. As well as traveling and engaging with as many people as possible.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely has had its ups and downs. Early on, everything was a process and still is to this day. When I started out, I was just happy to complete a project and get it out even if it wasn’t perfect. Now that I’ve focused on my craft a little more, I definitely tend to pick apart my tracks before releasing. So, without the early on struggles I wouldn’t have reached the point of recording I am at now. As far as a smooth road goes idk if that’s always the case, but looking back and seeing hard work pay off definitely make it all feel worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an artist out of Indianapolis, IN. Been creating music and dropping content since 2017. I also make my own merchandise to support the music. Been working on getting visual game together as fast as building a bigger YouTube. As of right now what I would have to take the most pride in is getting to where I am today and being able to release music with some of my favorite artist.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I played around a lot, but I had my certain group of friends, and that was about it. I always enjoyed basketball, skating, and probably some video games. Plus, always been a music fan of many genres. It wasn’t till after high school that I ever even got into music personally.
