Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Speicher.
Hi Andrew, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Columbus native. I am a graduate of Westerville South. I’ve always been interested in interior design and architecture. I also have a love of working to help people. When in my freshman year of college at The Ohio State University, I decided I wanted to pursue a career in real estate. I took my licensing test and passed in July of 2022. I’ve been working as a real estate professional ever since and have stayed busy with it. I also have continued my education at Ohio State and am at the Fisher College of Business with a specialization in Economics.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say overall it’s been pretty smooth, but there are definitely challenges being a 20-year-old in the professional world. I think one struggle I deal with is people trusting someone my age with buying/selling a home. However, all the clients I’ve worked with have been beyond pleased with my service. I love being able to prove to people that I am more than qualified to help them in their home-buying and/or selling journey despite being young.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a real estate professional. I work with home sellers to help them create and follow the most effective marketing strategy for selling their home (i.e. price, social media, showings, open houses) I also help ease the process through the contractual side of the transaction. I work with home buyers in helping them gain the most value out of the home they want. This includes my negotiation skills for them when it comes to putting offers in on a property. Just like sellers, I help them with the contractual side of things as well. More recently, I’ve been noticed a lot for my social media presence. I like to post TikToks and reels of some of the most exclusive properties in Columbus. I’m really proud of this because I feel as though not many agents do this. I think overall, what sets me apart from other people in my industry are my communication skills, reliability, knowledge of the market, and social media personality.
What do you think about luck?
I think luck has a big role in real estate success for everyone. Obviously, I’ve put in a lot of hard work, but when all the stars align and something just clicks, things really start rolling. It’s the best feeling in the world.
