Today we’d like to introduce you to Marlia Hall.
Hi Marlia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is a long one. I’ve experienced everything from childhood molestation, and panic attacks, to becoming a 24-year-old jobless single mom with $0.46 to my name and two small children to take care of. But then I went on a healing and self-discovery journey that made me very successful. I’m the crazy girl who left her good-paying government job to pursue a childhood dream and it worked out well for me.
In 2017, after being burned out from working for the government for many years, I decided to put my mental and physical health first. My job had taken a toll on me and my family. The work that I did made me feel sad and depressed. Even though I was a bright light and hopeful person, something about working where I worked brought me down. That’s when I refused to let this job determine who I was going to be. I just knew there was something better for me. Outside of work, I had a pretty amazing story about surviving childhood molestation and becoming this young single mom who turned $0.46 into $10,000.
On the weekends I would go around sharing my story of barely surviving to thriving. Many women were inspired by the story and it gave them hope. Speaking on stages and in small groups filled my heart and life with so much joy that I decided to take a chance on myself by leaving my job to pursue my dreams. I put in my two weeks’ notice and wrote and published my first book while homeschooling my children.
From there I built a consulting business around the methods that I shared in my book and the new techniques that I learned. I now teach women about self-love, purpose, the power of meditation, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. I want women to experience the freedom of accepting their stories and making the most out of their circumstances. No matter how bad things are, their dreams can still come true.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been an easy journey. In the beginning, I experienced many challenges. I had moments when I felt like I was on top of the world and other moments when I felt like the world was on top of me.
I struggled with fear and anxiety for years to the point where I had a panic attack while driving and had to invest in a therapist to learn how to gain control of my thoughts. I’ve been broke, lost my first home and a few friends on my journey to peace, purpose, and prosperity. There were times when I didn’t know what to do or where to turn but in the end, everything worked out for my good.

I am the owner of M Bryonne LLC. A consulting agency dedicated to helping women live their dreams full time. We assist women with taking the necessary steps to move forward and change their lives for the better. My team and I show women how to maintain daily peace, discover their purpose, and create prosperity. With my proven accountability system, we help women soar beyond their weaknesses and insecurities to acheive their BIG dreams.
Women who work with us usually want the following:
Peace of mind, a loving family/relationships, and daily joy. They also want to increase their income, release books and become coaches and public speakers. Many of my clients want to leave the 9-5 world to walk in their purpose full time. Lastly, they desire to have healthy families, bodies, and mindsets so that they can thrive in real life and not just on social media. We help women create and stick to their plans.
We share techniques, systems, and habits that ensure their success. Women learn about self-love, purpose, the power of meditation, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. I am thankful that I didn’t have to cut corners in my journey to becoming an entrepreneur. There are so many people on social media who mislead and take advantage of women just so that their businesses can be profitable. I’ve been able to remain true to my values and principles and still experience success as an entrepreneur.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
People would be surprised to know that I left my job and published my first book within 3 months with a newborn on my lap while homeschooling my older children. Yes, from book idea to my book being in the hands of its readers, this process took less than 90 days. Women are stronger than they think! We can do the impossible!
