Community Highlights: Meet Diane Hites of Greater Hites group LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diane Hites.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was a single parent on public assistance with very few options of income as I had spent the last 20 years raising children when I first started in the life insurance industry. I started with Aflac and Primerica, but didn’t find the work-life balance I was looking for until I came to work as a 1099 self-employee with Lincoln Heritage! Since then I have achieved great things that I never thought possible, and I had tried everything from Mary Kay to Avon and from Nuskin to Melaleuca to find a way to make my dream possible of being a millionaire. Only with my present employer was this dream achieved, and I will be celebrating 8 years come November 20th with this incredible company which by the way is the longest job I ever held. After teaming up with Lincoln Heritage, I have found the love of my life, celebrating 7 years of marriage and having time together after earning many destination trips to such places as The Grand Cayman Islands, Italy, Punta Mita, and Cancun, where I got to take my youngest daughter. I have found the ability to believe in myself and have greatly succeeded while being surrounded by the most encouraging people. My greatest achievements to date are obtaining #1 status in the country on Sept 2022, and reaching the top 10, #9 of the whole country in 2020. Now those numbers have diminished as I look to my passion of volunteering. I presently serve my community by transporting underprivileged children to church, I serve on the prayer team, volunteer with the kids ministry, and my husband and I together provide concessions during the children’s basketball games for several months at the beginning of the year. It gives me great satisfaction that my business can sponsor a team. Who would’ve thought a very insecure, scorned, and mistreated woman would come this far? I give God all the praise!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I was accused of a crime I did not commit, and tried to end my life several times because of it. Then when I made mistakes myself, I couldn’t forgive myself. I had to eventually learn how to forgive myself through the strength of Jesus Christ, and I found the strength to grow up and take full responsibility for my life. I realized I had a choice, I could be bitter or I could be better! I chose better!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Greater Hites group LLC?
On the worst day of people’s lives I specialize in providing them cash in 24 hours to help pay for their funeral, and prior to this day happening I sit down and plan out all of the details of the funeral so that their family doesn’t have to guess.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
When I first started in the business, I had very little money to invest in it, and I knew I needed money to take the class, purchase the leads, and to pay for my gas to go visit the leads in their homes. When I made my first sale, I knew the product was something that everybody needed, so I was very confident that people would buy it. I did have to risk my own money in the beginning, and every time I purchase a lead I do risk losing that purchase but in the business of sales, especially sales of life insurance, you will get a yes, and when you do it pays really well. So my profit margin is way higher than the investment.
