Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Keith.
Hi Christian, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m from Cleveland, Ohio, and a big part of my story is simply continuing to create and push forward no matter what life puts in front of me. Right now, I work two 9-to-5 jobs, but outside of work I’m a content creator, videographer, and editor. I’ve built my brand, CIRBYTV (CTV), as an outlet for my creativity and a way to bring the ideas in my head to life.
One of the biggest turning points in my life was losing my mother to cancer. She was my number one supporter and someone who always believed in me and what I could accomplish. Losing her changed me, but it also gave me even more motivation to keep going, keep creating, and make something meaningful out of the gifts I have.
I’m most proud of my creativity and my ability to create and edit. I truly feel like my creativity is limitless. Whether I’m behind the camera, editing footage, creating content, or developing a new idea, I’m always looking for ways to take things to another level.
Another major part of what I’m building is my skate crew(s),Sixth City Steppas & Sixth City Scions. It’s something I’m excited to continue growing alongside CIRBYTV. I’m still building my story, and I know there’s a lot more ahead of me. My goal is to keep creating, keep growing, and turn everything I’m passionate about into something bigger than I ever imagined.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
“It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through was losing my mother to cancer. She was my biggest supporter and always believed in me, so losing her affected me in ways I’m still learning from. At the same time, I’ve had to balance working two 9-to-5 jobs while still making time for my passion as a content creator, videographer, and editor. There are days when I’m tired or things don’t move as fast as I want them to, but I keep pushing because I know what I’m building has a bigger purpose. Every challenge has made me more focused, creative, and determined to turn CIRBYTV and Sixth City Steppas into something special.”
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a content creator, videographer, and editor behind my brand CIRBYTV, also known as CTV. I specialize in bringing ideas to life through video, editing, storytelling, and creative direction. I’ve always had the ability to see something in my head and figure out how to turn that vision into something people can actually watch and feel. I also draw a lot of inspiration from my two mentors, Bee1ne and Bubbles, who constantly challenge me to think outside the box, push my creativity to new levels, and become better at my craft. Their guidance has inspired me to explore new ideas, step outside my comfort zone, and continue growing as a creative individual.
What I’m most proud of is how much I’ve developed my craft on my own while still balancing two full-time jobs. Creating isn’t just something I do in my free time it’s a real passion and something I’m constantly working to take to the next level.
What sets me apart is that I don’t like putting limits on my creativity. I can shoot, edit, create concepts, and build content from the ground up. I’m always experimenting and looking for new ways to make my work stand out. I’m also building Sixth City Steppas, my skate crew, which gives me another way to combine community, culture, skating, and visual storytelling through CTV.
At the end of the day, I want people to see CIRBYTV and know they’re going to get something original. My creativity is limitless, and I’m only getting started.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to keep going, even when life doesn’t go the way you planned. Losing my mother taught me how quickly life can change, and it made me realize that I can’t keep putting my dreams on hold. She was my biggest supporter, so a lot of what I do now is motivated by making her proud and making the most of the gifts I have.
I’ve also learned that success takes consistency. Working two jobs while still creating, editing, filming, and building CIRBYTV isn’t always easy, but I’ve learned that you have to keep showing up for yourself. You may not see results immediately, but every step is still progress. I’ve learned to trust my creativity, believe in my vision, and keep building no matter how long it takes.
