Hi Shasa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Shasa LaRae. I’ve been in the medical field for over 20 years, and while I’m still currently in that field, I’ve always had a creative side and a desire to build something of my own. That’s what led me to create my lash line, focused on quality reusable strip lashes that are easy, convenient, and eye-catching. I take pride in turning an idea into something real. Even as my business relaunches and grows, I keep working toward new ideas and ways to promote my vision. I want my clients and followers to believe in their dreams and follow them, because you can do anything you put your mind to. I believe in quality over quantity, and that you never have to do too much to be beautiful. Everyone has their own beauty, just like a unique fingerprint. My brand is meant to enhance that individuality, not change it. I want my lashes to bring out the confidence and shine you already have✨️✨️

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When you start a business, there will always be risks and unexpected challenges. The best thing you can do is face them, step back, and figure out your next move. For me, that meant taking a break from Lash Play by Shasa LaRae. I kept thinking about creative ideas and marketing, and preparing to relaunch. Instead of giving up on opportunities like this interview, I kept going, writing down ideas and reminding myself that it will all come together.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I run a beauty brand where I specialize in premium reusable Strip Lashes. My focus is on quality, style, and helping clients feel confident while continuing to be their individual self every day. What I’m most proud of is continuing to move forward even through unexpected challenges. I use the break to plan creative marketing and behind-the-scenes ideas, so the relaunch feels intentional, not like giving up. That persistence that’s what matters most to me.

I’m always looking for ways to improve and grow my business and life. I read financial and business books, follow different blogs and vlogs, and dive into interviews and content from other entrepreneurs for inspiration. I also love collaborating with other small business owners, because it gives me the opportunity to connect, learn, exchange ideas, and create fresh energy. I believe continuous learning and creativity are key to becoming a better entrepreneur and evolving with Lash Pla’ by Shasa LaRae.
