Check Out Brittany Hoogenboom’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Hoogenboom.

Hi Brittany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have told this story so many times in my life, and depending on the space I am in, it feels the same and different because the lens through which I observe myself shifts. I have lived many lives! Many, many lives in my short 37 years on this planet, and where I am today has developed from my own struggles, my own experiences, and my deep desire for learning and developing.

It all started with my love for movement and the body and unfolded into my deep heart’s desire and innate abilities to understand human behavior, patterns, trauma healing, nervous system happiness, and, with the support of my psychic mediumship.

If your readers know anything about Human Design, to put it shortly, I am a 3/5 Self-Projecting Projector. I was literally born to explore, learn by getting my hands into things, understand the most efficient and effective ways of doing things, and guide. I have a knack for foreseeing the success of things and lead my life from a space of deep inner knowing; deep intuition.

So, my story is a series of mistakes that I have learned from, habits that I have broken, such as addiction, exploration through living, the wisdom I have gained along the way, and my dedication to my education!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Is a road of greatness ever smooth?! I think not! My road has been interwoven with pain and trauma, AND love and prosperity, but not smooth at all. However, that has never stopped me. I have been knocked down an immense amount of times, and I have also knocked myself down unknowingly. Good thing I am an Aries, hahaha, because I am persistent.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a coach. You can put almost any word you want before “coach” because I have changed it so many times, trying to find the words that truly encompass the vastness of what my coaching entails. But, in short, I work in spiritual and personal development.

My work is trauma-focused, helping people shift the internal patterns and behaviors associated with their past, creating space to consciously build and manifest their future. Even saying that doesn’t truly put the greatness of this work into words.

My Instagram bio probably sums it up best: “I help women master themselves by transforming the patterns, beliefs, & emotions shaping how they experience life.”

I am also a professional witch. I teach holistic witchcraft through my Academy of Wholistic Witchcraft & Self-Mastery, and I offer conjure, rootwork, and spellwork services with my co-partner through The Elementals Fire Botanica. Together, we also create wearable art and altar pieces designed to honor your Ancestors, your Dead, through apparel and home goods.

Everything that I create or co-create, I’m proud of because it comes from a space of deep inspiration and love.

And what sets me apart is my personality, my ability to truly be myself and show up as who I am in every room. I have a bold personality, and I live that way and love it deeply. I was born to be seen, to shine, and to offer incredible things to people through my work.

I’ve heard it so many times: when people find me online and then meet me in person, they say, “You’re exactly how you show up online.”

Because I’d rather be no one but myself.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Notice how that person makes you feel. Do you feel safe with them? Do they express qualities that inspire you to be a better person? Are they living the way you desire to live? By that, I mean a healthier, more supportive lifestyle that contributes to the longevity of your mind, body, and spirit.

Not becoming them, but do they express ways of life that you seek to incorporate into your own life? Do they express honesty and integrity?

All of these qualities are important to recognize when you are seeking a mentor or coach.
