Check Out Logan Soland’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Soland.

Hi Logan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story started as a young kid with his dad’s VHS collection. Growing up I loved watching any & everything I could get my hands on. Music and Movies were my life, my only dream was to be an actor & musician.

That dream came more to fruition in high school quitting all sports to focus on the arts my senior year.
From there I jumped head first into Theatre in Ohio and started studying film and music till the pandemic shifted me towards mostly film.

I then studied at an Acting studio in Cleveland Ohio for film, tv, & commercial acting. From there I’ve booked and worked on many feature films, short films, Episodic, & commercials.

Along with acting I’ve been playing out as a musician and working on many music projects for a few years.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not, but that’s what makes it a beautiful journey.

The industry has changed a lot in the last 6 years, and while it continues to change we learn to adapt.

I’m a firm believer that in this industry and life in general, there is no perfect roadmap.
You can follow step by step what the greats or people you admire did before you and not get any of the same results.
On the flip side you can do something no one has ever tried and it can give some of the best results.
My view is something that works for you perfectly may not work for someone else at all and to find and explore what best fits me. I’ve always thought obstacles while challenging, often reveal something to explore or improve on

While this industry is challenging and unpredictable it is entirely worth it for me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an Actor, Producer, and Singer Songwriter based out of Brooklyn, New York.

I’m most proud of my film and theatre work, along with a lot of music that is coming soon.

I think the main thing that sets me apart from others is the pure love for my crafts that I’ve had since a young kid. It informs a lot of my decisions and art I make. Being a fan before anything has helped me with my taste of projects & helped cultivate what kind of artist I ultimately want to be.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mom will always be my number one, an artist herself she planted a lot of seeds early on in my life and supported me a lot along the way especially early on.

My acting coach Bryant Carroll who has been a working actor most of his life, has also been someone I’ve looked to for advice & been a mentor of mine.

Many other actors/directors/musicians/coaches and close friends have supported or given me advice/opportunities along the way. I wish I could mention them all. I’m very grateful for everyone who has supported me or helped in any way on my journey.
