Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Roharik.
Hi Joseph, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I realized I can be a part of The Game Industry since just after 5th grade. I’ve been playing games practically since I was born. My story started gaining traction with this business. I started repairing devices, and myself. This really had me figure out how what I love intersects with how I can service others. It changed everything in the best way. I’m where I am today because of these two important things connecting. This November, I’ll have 2 full and successful years of working full-time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Parts of the road have been surprisingly smooth, but I really like a quote shared by one of my referral partners I network with: “The road to success is always under construction.” Struggles along the way vary from no consistent routine, to learning more about working on myself, and how different it is working with a variety of customers. One of the biggest struggles has been understanding despite all of the information I put out there. The amount of questions I still get even though there’s information put out there publicly, and at no cost, is surprising. I’ve noticed there’s a significant gap between people that use technology regularly, and those that use it at a minimum or almost not at all. That’s a big struggle in a world that’s pushing more layers of tech by the day.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Right now, I repair electronic hardware. Most of the things that come in are Video Game Consoles that require a part replacement after being damaged. HDMI Port replacements are the most common. Power Supply replacements are the runner-up. I also repair Smart Phone screens, batteries, and charge ports. I also help with software issues here or there.
I definitely specialize in Gaming. The main focus of the business is in the motto; “Get back in the Game, Get back to your Life.” These days its absolutely essential to have devices that are functioning properly. When they aren’t, it’s almost as if you’re “out of the game.” That’s why I like saying that we give you an extra life! I love showing people what technology is capable of. Its more than just entertainment. It has potential to amplify and compliment life. Unfortunately, it can also give it more problems.
Its hard to say what I’m known for. I’ll leave that up to the people I’ve networked with and the customers I’ve served. Check out our Google Reviews! Every one of those was because of my service to others. I’m most proud of this current success, striving and balancing my life as a single father.-Breaking apart from the “corporate world” to do something on my own that the community actually finds value in is indescribable. I’ve had multiple people offer to volunteer to work for free and even more people remind me how much these services are needed. What sets this business apart from the others is our approach. I’ve done my research and I’ve lived results from a variety of places I’ve worked for. They all typically go with a “one size fits all” approach with their systems. This ports a significant amount of responsibility that helped build companies their value in the first place. Its a big problem. Where there’s problems, there’s opportunities.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is peace. When things go stagnant or get ignored, they can fall apart and degrade. Death approaches for things like that, as its part of the cycle of life. I’ve heard a few things related to that recently. “Depression can’t hit a moving target”, and “the best death we can have is a peaceful one.” Its so important to me that we make the best out of our time, because its temporary and the best things seem to go by so quick. To really flourish and get the most out of life, we have to find ways to improve or even just keep busy. It matters to me a lot to protect overall joy and peace within the time we all have.
