Daily Inspiration: Meet Nevaeh Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nevaeh Brown.

Hi Nevaeh, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always dreamed of being an actress ever since I was a little girl. I would walk around my room and pretend to win awards, have press conferences, show love to my fans, and so much more. I started taking it serious in 2021 when I signed up for classes in Michigan. I only had 100 dollars and a dream with me but, it got me far that day. I was able to pay what I had and start my classes the following month after. I would do auditions, I was in a movie, and some things I never got called back for. Unfortunately life got complicated and I had to take a step back so in 2022 I started posting acting tiktoks. I was still nervous and a bit embarrassed, but I kept going on and off. I just recently got consistent with it and it has been such an amazing journey so far.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No. It has not been a smooth road. Between family, confidence, passion, and just being a woman in her early 20s it’s hard. I continue to ask myself “Am I good enough for this?” Or “Am
I truly ready for this?” So many questions of self doubt had crossed my mind. That’s the main struggle, being able to truly believe that I am made for this kind of career. Also challenging myself to unlock different emotions that I feel only unlock with different experiences in life.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an all around creative if I’m being honest. I act, sing, dance, model and I am a decent painter. However the thing I am most proud of and most drawn to is my acting. What sets me apart is that I do it because I am passionate about it. I want to be able to show people from small cities like me that’s it’s okay to dream big. I want to inspire people to follow their dreams no matter how big or crazy they may seem. For people to understand that you are not where you come from you can be so much more.

What does success mean to you?
I define success as true genuine happiness. For me it is when you are surrounded by real love and support. When you can look at yourself in the mirror and be truly happy with life. Being able to feel so blessed and grateful that you dance around your small apartment and sing your heart out about how happy you are.
