Check Out Sherry Patterson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherry Patterson.

Hi Sherry, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I had a liver transplant on October 30th 2021, while in hospice care, I was fighting for my life , received a life saving transplant at the University of cincinnati medical center, also being a diabetic with flections in my sugar and surviving 2 huge fires in 2 years I also needed an animal to detect the VOC enzymes (. stress enzymes) I chose a fox because we have 3 dogs, I wanted something different specific to me. My husband and I did months and months of research and educated ourselves on all the pros and cons, we knew what a commitment it was going to take we made the commitment and we found MJ ( Michael Jamie Fox ) we looked up Michael j fox’s middle name and it does not start with a J at all its Anthony, he picked up the j because there was another actor named Michael fox. So my husband suggested ” Jamie” as he is a Jamie fox fan. MJ was put through extensive scent training and reluctantly mastered his signaling, hes great at it, he loves it, MJ goes with us to all types of public events, hes been to car shows, concerts ( he likes to be in front) hes been to festivals, expos, hospitals, libraries, parks, nature centers, sr citizen centers, nursing homes and so much more. MJ now helps us advocate for organ donation, he attracts the attention and ask questions and it gives us the opportunity to open up a discussion about organ donation and how it saved my life and if our count is right we have registered over 100 organ donors personally. We (Organically ) dye MJs tail blue and green for donated life month.. I am attaching information sheet for more questions and answers

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
no not a smooth road, fox do not make good pets, its a commitment, its literally like having a 2 yr old toddler that never grows out of the terrible twos, we have to know where he is and what hes doing 24 hrs a day, luckily we work from home and we are with him all of the time, he is never crated he free roams the house with our 3 dogs a full blooded Great Dane A (Stan) and 2 Great Dane lab mixes ( Gemma and Craig ) MJ loves to play all hours of the night and he will. let you know by a polite high dive pounce to the face when you are sound asleep, we have learned to love it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
my husband and I are world wide life and relationship and connection coaches, we coach celebrities, musicians and politicians, We offer retreats and seminars and workshops, we love our work, We also host fundraising “reality events’ , and we are both published authors, 3 books about MJ already published and available on amazon ,we also advocate for organ donation in most of our off work time with MJ.
