Daily Inspiration: Meet CEO TiMBO

Today we’d like to introduce you to CEO TiMBO.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am CEO TiMBO independent artist & the owner of Onlythacircle Entertainment. I was born on the westside of Cincinnati, Ohio in the subsidized housing units of Moosewood Avenue but I was raised uptown in a poverty-suburb neighborhood known as 7hills. My childhood was fun but certainly not ordinary, growing up got difficult we took a lot of losses from the Bengals down to our loved ones. This alone works almost like a curse…the people here are heartbroken from a cycle of loss. This created a city of hatred…still hurt from its past not willing to believe in the future or its own. This is what makes me, I like to believe I’m the light in the dark place. Coming up a speech impaired darkskin brother of poverty I used what was look at as a disadvantage to my strength. I took speech classes all elementary & it helped me become better with my words than others. My story is no facade and it’s bigger than just me it’s us…My music shines directly on my upbringing here in Cincinnati. My storytelling flow, authentic sound, and raw lyrics comes natural but is more than rhymes to me. It’s art, it’s where I’m from, and who I am.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life is always doing what I like to call “Lifing”, but struggle has been a part of my process, so it kind of just motivates me to want to succeed more knowing what all I’ve been through.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an independent artist. My music is out on all platforms, and I also have a few businesses I’m still trying to get off the ground I like to consider myself as a jack of all trades but being an artist is my primary focus & family of course I feel you always got to stay on top of your people & relationships because that type of stuff you can’t buy.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Well mainly social medias I am “CEO TiMBO” on all social platforms but other than that I’ll be around town like at certain networking events and stuff like that I’m not the friendliest guy but I’m about business.
