Daily Inspiration: Meet Steven Williams Jr.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Williams Jr..

Steven, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
KOZMIC KINGDOM really began with my own journey of self-discovery.
About a decade ago, I entered a period where almost everything I thought defined me began to change. I reached a point where I had to question not only what I wanted from life, but who I actually was underneath the identities and expectations I had accumulated.
Instead of viewing that period solely as something happening to me, I became curious about what it was trying to teach me. That curiosity led me to explore psychology, spirituality, philosophy, astrology, nature and cosmology. The deeper I explored the universe, the more parallels I began to see within myself.
That realization eventually became the foundation for KING KOZMOS—my symbolic identity as the artist and observer who transforms what I learn and experience into creative expression.
Jewelry became one of my first languages for doing that. I’m largely self-taught, and what began as experimenting with gemstone beads grew into a fascination with their beauty, geology, color, structure and symbolism.
That ultimately evolved into KOZMIC KINGDOM, a world built around three ideas that have shaped my journey: Science, Spirit and Style of Self.
Today, I create handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gemstone jewelry, but I see KOZMIC KINGDOM as something larger than a jewelry brand. It’s the universe as I see it—expressed through jewelry, art and storytelling, while inviting others to explore, accept and authentically express their own unique universe.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Furthest thing from a smooth road. It has involved a lot of pain and transformation. Being self-taught, nothing comes easy. Some struggles have been not only learning the jewelry design and business side of things from scratch, but even more so, the personal development journey of entrepreneurship. It’s required me to create and embody a new identity capable of manifesting this vision.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a jewelry artist specializing in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gemstone bead jewelry. Every piece I create is designed and made by me, with an emphasis on natural gemstones, micro-faceted cuts, color, symbolism and intentional design.
What sets my work apart is the philosophy behind it. I don’t approach gemstones simply as decorative materials—I’m fascinated by their geology, crystal structures, interaction with light, history and spiritual symbolism. My designs bring those worlds together through the three pillars of KOZMIC KINGDOM: Science, Spirit and Style of Self.
I’m particularly drawn to faceted stones because of the way they interact with light. That has become part of my signature design language and connects to a larger idea within the brand: we each have different facets of ourselves, and authentic self-expression means learning to own and integrate all of them.
I’m most proud that I’ve built KOZMIC KINGDOM into something that feels genuinely my own. I’m largely self-taught, so the brand has evolved alongside me through experimentation, curiosity and personal transformation.
Ultimately, I’m not interested in creating jewelry that simply completes an outfit. I want to create wearable pieces of art that carry meaning—something distinctly individual that helps the person wearing it express a piece of their own universe.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Probably the most influential book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. There’s many parallels between the story and my own. Heavy instagram use. Anything and everything to do with gemstones, nature, spirituality, healing, astronomy, etc.
