Check Out Eddie Beasley’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Beasley.

Hi Eddie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born in Nuernberg Germany. Raised Edgewood Maryland, Late teens relocated to Baltimore Maryland. Where I endure tremendous trials and tribulations. Where I became wise to adapting to survival. And actually did more surviving then living. Spent most my teens in juvenile institution and prison along with most my twenties in Baltimore Cith Jail and DOC. SUMMER 2010 at age 30 I relocated to Canton Ohio with my sister,to escape the back streets of Baltimore and turn over a new leaf. I work numerous temp jobs and attended Stark State College for Welding Technology. I graduated but before I graduated I indulged in the underworld of Newton Ave Lifesytle. Where my saga became full of ups and downs and crawling through hells kitchen, eventually seeing the light at the end of tunnel.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Poverty, living with rats, alone, was an imperative quest to overcome. In and out juvenile institutions and prison at such ripe age. Constantly evading police, always having my head on the swivel, dealing with people with larceny in their heart. Constant fights, dealing with US MARSHALS, losing close friends, and being shot at over territory in numerous different times and locations. To almost having my head blown off point blank range, but only thing saved my life was the the recoil was to powerful for point blank range. So the barrel lifted simultaneously as the trigger was pulled missing my skull by inches. Had to stab a person to escape being hand cuffed and kidnapped in false drug deal. Committing low level robberies to survive. Which became a way of life i got a tattoo GET IT HOW YOU LIVE, with a tatted gun on my inner forearm.Just dealing with every negative situation under the sun that came with the street territory. In hindsight these were the same obstacles that made me the man I am today. Strength and discernment was created because of struggles. In life you have to find the beauty in struggles.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Well I’m currently a Welder/Operator at Hendrickson Trailer, Welding is one of my passions. I specialize in Robtic Welding and welding repair. I’m known for my Newton Gritters series, and for welding. And I’m proud of Graduating Welding School and earning a Technical Degree. And I most proud of creating my intense and epic urban fiction series, NEWTON GRITTERS. Writing and being an Author is my other passion. Its like therapy. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My drive and ambition of never giving up. And being a visionary and mental strength. Basicly having tremendous grit. And knowing the art of survival.
