Rising Stars: Meet Anthony Jordan of Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Jordan.

Anthony , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

My journey started with a passion for bringing people together around the table, which led me to launch **Invito Personal Chef** to create tailored, intimate dining experiences.

As my work grew, I wanted to connect with a broader audience, so I started ***The Everything Food Podcast*** on YouTube to explore culinary culture and interview industry voices. At the same time, my focus shifted toward community impact—leading me to create the **Invito Kitchen EdTech Workforce Development Program** and lead hands-on cooking classes across regional neighborhood centers.

Today, my work spans private dining, media, and culinary education, all centered on using food as a tool for connection, skill-building, and opportunity.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s rarely a smooth road when you’re building something of your own, and my journey has definitely come with its share of hurdles.

The biggest challenge early on was the transition from cooking in traditional kitchens to managing every single aspect of **Invito Personal Chef** as an independent business owner—balancing menu design, operations, client management, and marketing all at once.

Expanding beyond private dining brought new learning curves, too. Launching ***The Everything Food Podcast*** meant stepping into the media space and figuring out production, platform algorithms, and audience growth from scratch. Later, launching the **Invito Kitchen EdTech Workforce Development Program** meant navigating the complexities of program design, outreach, and curriculum structure to ensure our community workshops truly make a lasting impact.

Every challenge taught me how to adapt, refine my vision, and keep pushing forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What Sets Me Apart
What sets my work apart is the holistic approach to food. I don’t view culinary art as just cooking—it’s a blend of hospitality, education, digital storytelling, and tech-enabled community development. Whether I’m designing a menu, hosting a podcast, or building interactive learning tools for workshop participants, every project is driven by a mission to make food engaging, accessible, and transformative.
