Hi April , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started JaeLuxe during a pivotal season in my life. After being laid off while a few months pregnant, I knew I needed to create a new opportunity for myself and my growing family. What began as a way to generate income quickly turned into something much bigger.

JaeLuxe is named after my first daughter, Jae, and I launched the business right from my dining room. With a lot of determination, long nights, and support from my family and customers, I grew it from a small home-based boutique into a successful online brand and brick-and-mortar store.

The journey has been incredibly rewarding and has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of building a brand with purpose. Today, I’m proud of how far JaeLuxe has come and excited about what the future holds as we continue to grow and serve women with confidence and style.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship is never a smooth road. It’s a journey of constantly solving problems, adapting, and pivoting when things don’t go as planned. Every challenge becomes an opportunity to learn and grow.

One of my biggest personal struggles has been taking the time to celebrate my wins—both big and small. As an entrepreneur, you’re always thinking about the next goal, the next milestone, and how to grow bigger. It’s easy to move on to the next challenge without acknowledging how far you’ve come. I’ve learned that celebrating those moments is just as important as chasing the next one because it reminds you why you started and gives you the motivation to keep going.

JaeLuxe is more than a boutique—it’s a brand built to help women feel confident, empowered, and seen. While we’re known for our unique, high-quality fashion that you won’t find everywhere else, what truly sets us apart is the experience we create for our customers and the impact we strive to make in our community.

We believe great style should be matched with exceptional customer service. In a time when personalized service is becoming rare, we’ve made it a priority to put the customer back at the center of everything we do. Whether someone shops with us online or in-store, we want them to feel valued, appreciated, and confident in their purchase.

Beyond fashion, giving back is a core part of who we are. We proudly support our community through back-to-school drives, donations to local teen homeless shelters, and by encouraging and uplifting aspiring entrepreneurs. Building JaeLuxe has always been about creating opportunities—not just for myself, but for others as well.

What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. Our customers don’t just shop with us—they become part of the JaeLuxe family. They’ve trusted us for years because they know they’re getting carefully curated fashion, outstanding quality, and a brand that genuinely cares about making a difference. At the end of the day, we don’t just sell clothes—we help women show up as the most confident version of themselves.

How do you think about happiness?
My children are what make me happiest. Everything I do is ultimately for them. One of my biggest goals is to build generational wealth and create something they can one day inherit and be proud of.

One of my favorite moments is when my daughter talks about JaeLuxe as “her store.” Hearing her say that reminds me that I’m building more than a business—I’m creating a legacy. It makes all the long hours, challenges, and sacrifices worth it.

Above all, I’m grateful that God gave me the vision, the strength, and the perseverance to bring JaeLuxe to life. Being able to turn an idea into a thriving brand while inspiring my children to dream big is a blessing I never take for granted. That, more than anything, is what brings me the greatest joy.
