Rising Stars: Meet Hannah Bryson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Bryson. 

Hi Hannah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up baking with both of my grandmothers. I have always enjoyed baking & creating. In September of 2021, I leapt into my own cottage baking business. I started with breads & pastries. In December I started taking custom cookie orders and haven’t looked back since. I love that I get to be creative while making something tasty. My favorite is seeing how people react to their cookies once they receive them! 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Aside from baking, I’m a stay-at-home mom. The struggles of running my own business with a 1.5-year-old on my side and being 8 months pregnant just mean I really have to carve out time (nap & bedtime) to get things finished. 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in custom desserts. I have done everything from a brunch spread of pastries and bagels to kids’ birthday parties & weddings. I’m most proud of how far I have come in seven months. Royal icing is HARD, and I’ve learned a lot! I’ve always had a creative background, so I feel like that helps set me apart from others. I find inspiration everywhere & always get so excited to make new sets.

The sugar cookie marketing group is my go-to. They have a Facebook group & a podcast that really helps people who make sugar cookies like me!
