Today we’d like to introduce you to Craig Walder.
Hi Craig, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello, I was born in Dayton Ohio, graduated from Dayton Christian High School. I went away for college basketball but my passion was always serving people, especially young people.
I served as a Juvenile Probation officer for 13 years then I transitioned to education for 7 years serving as teacher then Principal.
I was born an raised in church, serving in the community as Youth Pastor at Faith Deliverance c.o.g.i.c. During the pandemic I was called, vocationed to step out with the blessing of my former Pastor. We pioneered Chosen church, we started with 66 members in 2022, we currently have 673 members. God has been blessing us and we’re doing the work of the lord adding to His Kingdom.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s always struggles, your own personal on top of serving others. But with the help and power of the Holy Spirit we overcome all struggles.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I currently serve as Lead Pastor of Chosen Church. I also just resigned from being Principal at Westwood Prep Academy.
What I’m most proud of is being a father and husband and Pastor! I truly love serving God and His people.

It doesn’t matter what it looks like, God is always in control.
